These terms apply when you book tickets through Go Get Tickets. Please read them with the event page, which shows the organiser’s refund policy and any entry conditions.
Who does what
The event is run by the organisation named on the event page and your tickets (“the organiser”). Your contract for the event is with them, and they are responsible for the event itself.
Go Get Tickets runs the booking system. We take your booking and your payment on the organiser’s behalf, issue your tickets, and pass the money on to the organiser. Some organisers use their own Stripe account, in which case they take the payment directly and their name appears on your card statement.
Booking
When you choose tickets we hold them for you for a short time while you enter your details and pay. Your booking is confirmed when we show the confirmation page and email you; that’s when the contract is made. If the hold runs out before you pay, the tickets are released and you’ll need to choose again.
If your payment goes through after the hold has run out and the tickets have been sold to someone else, we’ll refund you in full automatically and let you know.
Prices
The price shown when you choose tickets is the total you pay. We don’t add booking fees at checkout.
Your tickets
Your tickets are emailed to you as a PDF and are also on the page linked from your confirmation email. Each ticket has its own code and can be used once. Keep your codes private: whoever shows a ticket first is let in.
If you can’t go, you can pass your tickets on to someone else. Organisers may refuse entry with tickets that have been resold for profit.
Cancelling a booking
Because tickets are for an event on a specific date, the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 doesn’t apply. Whether you can get a refund if you can’t go depends on the organiser’s refund policy, which is shown on the event page and when you book. To ask for a refund, contact the organiser.
If the event is cancelled or changed
If the organiser cancels a performance, you’ll be refunded in full automatically, to the card you paid with. Refunds usually reach your account within 5 to 10 working days.
If a performance is moved to a new date or there’s a significant change, the organiser will contact you. If you can’t make the new arrangements, ask them for a refund.
At the event
The organiser sets the entry conditions, such as age guidance, latecomer rules and what you can bring, and can refuse entry or ask people to leave for safety reasons or bad behaviour. Check the event page before you go.
Disputed payments
If something has gone wrong, please contact the organiser or us first. If you dispute a payment with your bank, the tickets on that booking are cancelled while the dispute is looked at.
Our responsibility
We’re responsible for providing the booking service with reasonable care and skill. The organiser is responsible for the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law, and your statutory rights are not affected.
Questions and complaints
For questions about an event, contact the organiser using the details in your confirmation email. For problems with booking, payment or your tickets, email us at hello@example.com and we’ll reply within 5 working days.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
