Organiser terms

These terms apply to organisations that sell tickets with Go Get Tickets, and to the people who manage them. By registering an organisation you agree to them on its behalf, and confirm you’re allowed to.

Joining

We review every organisation before it can sell tickets and may decline an application. We can suspend an organisation that breaks these terms, puts customers at risk or gets an unusual number of disputes, and we’ll tell you why.

Your events

You run your events and are responsible for them: describing them accurately, holding any licences and insurance you need, the venue and safety arrangements, and dealing with customers’ questions about the event. Your refund policy is shown to customers when they book and must be one you honour; it can’t take away customers’ legal rights, such as a full refund when an event is cancelled.

Fees

Our fee is £0.50 per paid ticket unless we’ve agreed a different fee with you, which is shown in your dashboard. Free tickets have no fee. Card processing is charged by Stripe at cost. Each order keeps the fees in force when it was booked. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of any increase.

Getting paid

Card payments are handled by Stripe, and you need a Stripe account to sell paid tickets. You can create one through us or connect an account you already have, and either way Stripe’s own Connected Account Agreement applies too.

We may hold back a transfer while we confirm the card fee with Stripe, or while a payment is disputed.

Refunds and cancellations

You decide refunds under your policy, and you can issue them from your dashboard. When a booking is refunded the customer gets back everything they paid. Stripe keeps its card fee, and that cost is yours. Our fee is returned if you cancel a performance (unless we’ve told you otherwise) and otherwise only if you choose to.

If you cancel a performance, every customer is refunded in full. If a customer’s payment arrives after their tickets were sold to someone else, we refund them and cover the card fee ourselves.

On accounts created through us, money you owe from refunds is taken back from the original transfer or, if that isn’t possible, from your next payouts. Your dashboard shows any balance owed.

Disputes

If a customer disputes a payment for one of your events, we’ll let you know and ask for evidence. The tickets on that booking are cancelled. You’re responsible for disputes on your events, including any amount the card issuer takes back and Stripe’s dispute fee.

Customers’ data

You can see the details of the people who book your events, and you’re responsible for how you use them: to run the event and contact bookers about it, and to send marketing only to people who ticked the box to hear from you. For this data we act as your processor: we store and process it only to provide the service, keep it secure, use sub-processors listed in our privacy notice, help you respond to requests from individuals, and delete it in line with that notice.

Your account and team

Keep your sign-in details safe. You’re responsible for what members of your team do in your organisation’s account, so only add people you trust and remove them when they leave.

Leaving

You can stop using Go Get Tickets at any time; email us to close your account. Bookings already made stay valid unless you cancel them, and anything owed between us is still payable.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but can’t promise it will always be available. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we’re not liable for indirect losses such as lost fundraising. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will tell you by email before significant changes take effect. Questions: hello@example.com.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
